I emailed the company this same complaint only to receive no response. Here is my story. “I am a loyal Skinnies customer who lives in the US. I found Skinnies over a handful of years ago and fell in love with your products, especially the Skinnies Conquer sunscreen thanks to its 4 hour time line. As a redhead who has had a melanoma removed, I am very very wary of the sun. I never once got burned using your Skinnies Conquer and most importantly, neither did my kids…that is, until this summer. In an accidental experiment, I applied Skinnies Conquer to my son, head to toe, on our first day of a beach vacation a few weeks ago. For some reason, probably bc they are younger and wouldn’t stand still long enough to apply a cream, I sprayed my other son, daughter, and myself with different brands of sunscreen. Soon after being out in the surf and the sun, I noticed my son with the Skinnies Conquer on was starting to look burned. I reapplied and reapplied throughout the day, even switching to different sunscreens as the redness got redder. Unfortunately, by the time I switched, the damage was already done. My son (who has had plenty of exposure to Skinnies formulations before) was BURNED and burned badly. His back was especially fried and so was his face. I felt like a horrible mother and a failure. But oddly, my other two children and myself who all happened to use non-skinnies sunscreens that day did not get burned. I was not, it turns out, at fault, or else the others and myself would all have been burned. I immediately stopped using my favorite go-to skinnies sunscreen and resorted to buying more of a different brand while we were at the beach, unwilling to risk anyone else getting burned with my freshly purchased skinnies supply. We have since returned from the beach and I have not been able to bring myself to trust your sunscreen enough to test it again on myself or on my family. I have spent hundreds of dollars and just had restocked for the beach. Which leads me to my question… Prior to your product having a Skinnies USA site, I was ordering Skinnies from the New Zealand site. Is the formulation for the sunscreen shipped to the US different from the original, given the different regulations here? If not, has the overall formulation changed? Is it possible that the batch I received was bad? How could I trust it again, if so? I am honestly heartbroken to lose this product from our lives as it was such a game changer for me. I fear the sun, but skinnies helped me overcome that fear. Unfortunately, my fear has now returned.” Posting so I stop someone else from making this same mistake and to alert Skinnies to test all their US and NZ products.
Love this sunscreen. Doesn’t sweat off when being active in the sun and looks after my skin out running or at the beach. A little goes a long way.

I work as a gardener in Auckland - rain, sweat, mud, blood and tears: my Skinnies stays on without stinging my eyes, and no sunburn yet. Great stuff!
I’ve used Skinnies in the past and have found it excellent, offers great sun protection and is not greasy.
